Dr. Jason Leszkowicz
Jason Leszkowicz, D.V.M., was born and raised in Kitts Hill, Ohio, about 2-1/2 hours southeast of Cincinnati. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati in 1999 and St. Georges University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, West Indies in 2006. During 2004 while in Grenada, Hurricane Ivan hit the Caribbean island and his class was permitted to complete the term at Kansas State University. The class returned to Grenada for one last term before heading for their final year abroad. In 2006, his clinical year finished at the University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland. In his many travels he has enjoyed all aspects of veterinary medicine but has special interests in ophthalmology, surgery, and diagnostic imaging.
Dr. Susan O’Brien
Susan O’Brien is a 2010 graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College, Prince Edward Island, Canada. She is a 2006 graduate of Sweet Briar College in Virginia where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. While attending veterinary school, she was employed in both the large and small animal hospitals; she spent one memorable summer working in the small animal hospital emergency room where she honed her critical care skills. During her final year of veterinary school, she traveled to Peru and worked in villages spaying and neutering the local animal population and vaccinating their horses and donkeys. She grew up on a northeastern Ohio farm surrounded by animals, and currently has a dog, a cat, and four horses. Her veterinary interests include neonatology, critical care and sport horse medicine.
