Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:

Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to your pets' complete health care needs.

Surgical Services:

Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for a wide variety of surgical procedures, including ovariohysterectomy (spay), castration (neuter), declaw, mass removal, exploratory surgery, and orthopedic surgery. Pain management is designed for individual patients and often administered before surgery and continued at home. Patients are closely monitored during surgery in a sterile controlled environment. A certified veterinary technician or trained veterinary assistant monitors the surgery patient under veterinary supervision throughout the entire procedure and recovery.

Anesthesia:

We utilize an anesthetic plan that is specifically chosen for each patient. Most surgeries are performed with Isoflorane, an inhalation anesthetic, rather than injection. The inhalation form allows for quicker recovery and better control of anesthetic depth in the event of a complication. It is important to recognize that all anesthetics carry a risk independent of the age or species of an animal.

Radiology Services:

Our onsite digital radiography produces the highest quality radiographs (x-rays) in a short period of time with less exposure for your pet. The image produced allows for more clarity to accurately diagnose the problem. A digital copy can be easily transferred when referral to a specialist is necessary.

Laboratory:

Our in-house laboratory provides many diagnostic and screening capabilities. In most instances, it only takes 10 to 15 minutes to acquire results allowing us to better serve you and treat your pets' illness promptly. Our blood chemistry and hematology analyzers are even linked to our computers so the records are transferred fast and accurate. We also offer many other standard tests such as urinalysis, fecal examination and cytology.

Pharmacy:

Prescriptions can be filled right here in the hospital. You can call in a prescription refill or email your request via our website. Please allow sufficient time for us to prepare your medication. You will be contacted when the prescription has been completed or if we are unable to fill it at the present time.

Dentistry:

We provide preventative dentistry including scalings (tartar removal) and extractions. Dental procedures are designed around each individual patient and some situations may require dental surgery.

Ophthalmic Exams:

Screening tests for glaucoma, cataracts, tear production, ulcers and many other ophthalmic conditions can be performed within minutes. Surgery of the eye and surrounding tissues may be required for resolution.

Behavioral Counseling:

We can provide advice regarding socialization and the correction of certain behavior issues such as chewing, spraying, house soiling and aggression.

Boarding:

We do not provide boarding. We do maintain a list of local facilities that may meet your needs.

House Calls:

House calls are available when owners or their pets are unable to travel. Please call to set up an appointment and for more information.

Grooming:

Therapeutic bathing and therapeutic grooming services are available. Styling is not available.

Emergency Care:

We have a doctor on call at all times but this a service only offered to established clients of LSAC and LEC (Lebanon Equine Clinic). Please call the main line for further instructions.
